Haim M Dabah
Haim M. Dabah, age eighteen at the time of this publishing, was raised in a family of eight in Manhattan, where he attended The Ramaz School. Haim spends many of his weekends outside the city, on his family’s farm in the Hudson Valley, where he passes hours in an Adirondack chair with a good book. He has been obsessed with fantasy ever since he discovered its ability to portal him from the mundane world into a magical one that somehow made perfect sense to him.
Haim began writing seriously at twelve years old, drafting the story that would eventually become A Dragon’s Loyalties with his best friend.

In his personal life, Haim is an explorer. As an avid scuba diver, he enjoys discovering marine biology up close, and diving to shipwrecks on the ocean floor. He is a theater enthusiast and a key performer in his school’s drama program.
​
His all-time favorite musical is Phantom of the Opera, and he’s torn between The Wheel of Time and The Dresden Files for his favorite book series.​
Truman Edell
Truman Edell (18) is from New York, New York. After the last six years writing A Dragon’s Loyalties with his best friend, he now has profound gratitude for the time and effort authors put into writing his favorite books.

Get to Know Us
We are Haim Dabah and Truman Edell, best friends and co-conspirators since middle school.

We have both been addicted to fantasy for as long as either of us can remember. Some of our favorites include The Wheel of Time, The Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, and The Dresden Files. It wasn’t until we were twelve years old, in the heart of the boredom induced by COVID-19’s quarantine, that we decided that we were no longer content merely consuming the books of others; we yearned to tell a story of our own.

And so, A Dragon's Loyalties was born.
